Mentors don’t remove storms, but they help you navigate them. A mentor sees what you cannot see when emotion, pressure, fear, discouragement, or inexperience clouds your judgment. Sometimes we do not fail because we are incapable. Sometimes it is because nobody showed us the next step, or in moments of uncertainty we did not have that encouraging voice that would get us moving forward.
